Life teaches us to manifest reality

Life is always teaching us to appreciate what we have while we have it. I can remember when I was in my teens I would always say life sucks, or if someone asked how my day went, "it sucked," I was very negative, yet my grandparents would always tell me, appreciate what you have,. Never understood what that meant, no matter how they tried to explain. Now that I am older, have had some pretty strange trips, experienced reality change before my eyes, saw the eb and flow of things, then slowly came across people who have also seen these things. From this I learned what it means to appreciate things. I am happy and thankful for everything I have, and the days I feel and think like that more of what i want comes into my reality. The days I think the way I used to, "today sucked." not only does less come my way, but I don't even feel good about the things I have in life... doesn't take long for me to realize its my way of thinking is off track and all I have to do is change my mind....Once you realize its all in changing your mind, and that you do that on a moment to moment basis any way, things start changing more rapidly and life starts flowing more in the way you want it to, just go to remember it works this way with everyone else too, and you cannot control their flow, you can only ride the waves with them if they are on the same wave as you.

the next issue will cover more about how I have manifested my reality.
many blessings

Intro

The Art Of Manifesting Reality.

(this blog is actually a way for me to keep track of articles I am writing for a new upcoming San Diego artists magazine. each post will be a different monthly article I am writing for this piece) it is formatted for the magazine

The Art of Manifesting Reality:

Part 1 the mind is a pallet

There are many art forms, many mediums, and many tools designed to help and create and mold those forms of art into a culmination of emotion, sights (and/or) sounds. The Art of Manifesting Reality is much like other forms of art in the fact that one needs the tools and a little bit of knowledge to get started. One would not be able to draw a stick figure if one did not have a pencil to draw with and a piece of paper to draw it on. One could not make music if one did not have an instrument to play the music on. Manifesting reality is an art form, one that requires tools to get started and that requires practice to be confident in one's creativity. The great thing about all of this though is that the tools have already been given to you, and you already have a canvas waiting for you to create on.
The mind is your paints, your inks, your leads. Your appendages are your brushes, pens, pencils, and crayons. Your life is the canvas, or the clay in which mold the reality you wish to live in.

The Mind is a very powerful tool as it is constantly running parts of your body, you are not even consciously aware of most of the time. Not only does the mind run various bodily functions, but it also gathers stores and processes information, as well as constantly imagines different possibilities. The mind creates fantasies, nightmares, finds problems, solves problems, and can even entertain itself.
Knowing that the mind is the main medium you are working with might help in what type of reality you intend to create. IF your mind is like paint then you might want to think about the color schemes you are putting on your pallet. To paint a picture that is scenic and beautiful you need lots of color, and knowledge of how to shade and mix dark and light. To paint something psychedelic or abstract, you don't need as many colors or knowledge of shading as much as you would need to be able to keep things balanced. Put only on your pallet what you need to create the painting you are working with. If you want a painting that is bright, and catches the eyes, you wont want to use dark colors as much as you use the light colors. The same could be said about the mind, if you want to create a nice reality you don't want to put too many bad things onto your pallet.

If you spend your time filling your head with dark things, such as the nightly news, or nothing but horror movies, you might find that your reality is dark. If you spend your time filling your head with light things, such as feeding the homeless, taking a walk in the park with a friend/loved one, or watching comedy, then your reality might show reflections of this. For if the mind is the pallet, and then what you have on your pallet will also show on your canvas. This is not to say that it is impossible to create something beautiful out of something ugly, because beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

(To be continued in the next issue)

Part 2 the appendages are the tools:

If the mind is the pallet then the appendages must be the tools in which we apply our colors. If we have thoughts, they might manifest in reality all on there own, and sometimes do. Much like if we had a canvas lying on the floor and a cat walks by tipping over the jars of paint, they fall in such a way that they create art all on their own, yet you take credit for it in some way or another and frame it and sell it. Really it wasn't the cat who painted the picture; it wasn't knocking over the paint on purpose or at least not to create art. IF anything the cat was just trying to get your attention. Yet here it is a painting almost exactly what you wanted it to be, and with a little manipulation of the fresh wet paint, it can be exactly what you want. The cat was just the catalyst to get it close to that point.
Well in life sometimes things happen this way, sometimes we get a canvas that has already been half painted, and all we have to do is connect the dots. More often then none though we have to paint the canvas ourselves from start to finish. So the mind gives us an idea, we have a clear image of what we want in our minds. This is where our bodies come in, if we know what we want, and then we have to take the steps to get it.

We can use our hands to build things, to type, to open doors, ect.
We use our eyes to see, we can read, we can see what we touch ect.
We use out mouths to eat, but also to speak, we can communicate, and convey ideas, thoughts, needs and wants
we use our legs to move us through this world, they carry us from one place to another, or push the gas on the vehicle that does. They make it possible for us to be mobile. These are all tools in manifesting our reality as each of these helps us make reality what we want it to be. If you want an apple, you can climb the apple tree and pluck it, or walk into a store and buy it assuming you know what an apple is. The same goes for manifesting your reality, if you know what it is you want you can achieve it, assuming you know the necessary knowledge to achieve it.
You might not be able to fly to the moon if you don't know the first thing about rocket science, but you have the capabilities to learn rocket science of you want to.
Thus if your mind is the pallet and your appendages are the tools then your life must be the canvas.

(Look for part 3 in the next issue.)

Part 3 your life is the canvas:

When we are born into this world the canvas is blank for us, beyond the names that where given to us who we are hasn't truly come into being yet.
The first few years of life we are gathering information from our surroundings and the various teachers in our life, be it family or others in the community. By the time most of us reach adulthood we have a canvas that already has a few marks on it.
The beauty of this is like with any other art, if you don't like how the canvas is going you can, alter it a bit. Yes what was there will still be there, but you can make it a whole new painting by just white washing the canvas and adding new colors.

Your life is the canvas and at any point you can change it and start making it into the life you want. This is your reality as much as it is mine, and though we may not see eye to eye on what exactly reality is, we can coexist in the collective reality an still have a reality all our own.
This is what manifesting reality is all about.
One thinks of an idea, then puts out the effort, be it learning the knowledge to make the idea possible or networking with those who have the necessary skills to make it happen. Paint some lines. Invest a little time into the idea. Paint more lines.

Instead of going out to the movies this week, invest that 20 towards your idea. Add some shading. Talk to your friends/ family about the idea. Throw on some color.
Before you know it the painting is done, and you did it one step of a time not knowing if it would turn out as you imagined, yet there it is, very close to what you saw in your mind. This is the Art of Manifesting Reality.

The art of manifesting reality is something that takes lots of practice, patience, and positive energy. It is not something you are going to get over night. It all starts with awareness of it, and the more aware you are, the better you get. The more practice you have the more confident you become, the more real you can make your reality. There are many great resources for learning and practicing this great art. To name a few I would recommend that you start by watching THE SECRET, You Tube videos of Esther Hicks, and read a few books on the law of attraction, or manifesting reality. There are plenty of things on the internet concerning this subject as well.

(Next issue I will actually explain how the art of manifesting reality has worked in my life. Till then may your reality be all that you dreamed it)
to be.
